Job Responsibilities
  • Cleans bathrooms, offices, hallways and any other assigned areas by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and polishing.
  • Empties and decontaminates trash containers.
  • Moves, rearranges and dusts furniture and fixtures.
  • Mixes or blends routine cleaning solutions to proper concentrations as necessary for various tasks.
  • Cleans and waxes floors using industrial-size mops and/or machines.
  • Washes blinds, windows, and walls with prescribed solutions.
  • Sweeps sidewalks, porches and tiled surfaces.
  • Maintains equipment; reports needs for painting and minor building or equipment repair to supervisor.
  • Performs custodial related duties necessary to maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions.
  • Replaces light bulbs and/or reports safety hazards to supervisor.
  • Performs many varied custodial tasks necessary for the upkeep of buildings and grounds.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Education & Experience
  • Minimum Age: 18+ years
  • Education Requirement: High School Diploma
Skills & Abilities
  • Well versed in using cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers and cleaning compounds preferred
  • In depth know how of standard cleaning procedures

  • Strong background in handling and using cleaning chemicals in a safe manner

  • Proven ability to work for long hours on one’s feet

  • Agile to perform physical tasks constantly

  • Knowledge of occupational hazards safety rules

  • Capability of climbing ladders and working at the particular heights

  • Exceptional communication skills in order to be able to understand and carry out work orders

  • Excellent ability to work in a team-fostered environment with an aim to “get the job done”

  • Capability of working in a high-volume environment in locations that warrant continuous contact with the general public

  • Familiarity with both general and specific principle of housekeeping procedures and materials

  • Extensive experience in working in custodial teams ensuring that you work towards the company’s cleanliness objective

  • A teachable spirit that is able to adapt to our company’s culture
